Chailly and Filarmonica della Scala: triumph in the Duomo

Great success last night in Piazza Duomo for Filarmonica della Scala which celebrated the tenth anniversary of Concerto per Milano, the most attended classical event in Italy and finally back with no limit to participation. Free entrance with live RAI broadcast and on the podium the prestigious baton of Riccardo Chailly who for the occasion chose a sophisticated repertoire opened by Decisamente allegro commissioned to Nicola Campogrande. Then Manuel De Falla and Ravel`s Rapsodie espagnole before George Gershwin`s American in Paris and the Catfish Row suite from Porgy and Bess.
