Due to delays in airline flights from the United States, violinist Hilary Hahn was unable to arrive in time for the rehearsal of the Filarmonica della Scala scheduled for tomorrow Monday, May 22 at 8 p.m., conducted by Riccardo Chailly. She is being replaced by Emmanuel Tjieknavorian, whom we thank for accepting the invitation just hours before the concert, and who has made himself available to perform Johannes Brahms ' Concerto in D major op. 77 for Violin and Orchestra on the program. Also confirmed is the second part of the program with the Symphony No. 1 in C minor op. 68 by the same composer.
A welcome return is that of Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, who already performed last January with Chailly Prokofiev's D major violin concerto by Prokofiev that was greeted by very long applause and also acclaimed abroad in the January tour stops from Paris to Amsterdam.
