Sunday 12 September at 9 p.m. the Filarmonica della Scala and its Conductor Principal Riccardo Chailly return to Piazza del Duomo for the ninth edition of the now traditional Concerto per Milano. Last year too, despite the pandemic, the concert had taken place in September under the name "Concert for Italy", giving the Milanese people, despite the restrictions, an evening of great music that interpreted the desire to start again. This year too, places will be limited. Details and programmes will be announced at a press conference on 1 September 2021. Tickets will be distributed at a later date.
The Concert is broadcast live in Italy by Rai Cultura, onRai5,RaiplayandRadio3, in Europe byArte, and is distributed by RaiCom in over 20 countries including Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, in North Africa and the Middle East (MENA countries), Japan, China and Korea.

Principal Conductor of Filarmonica della Scala since 2015 and Musical Director of Teatro alla Scala since 2017, Riccardo Chailly is one of the most relevant conductors of his generation.
