Due to delays in airline flights from the United States, violinist Hilary Hahn was unable to arrive in time for the rehearsal of the Filarmonica della Scala scheduled for tomorrow Monday, May 22 , at 8 p.m., conducted by Riccardo Chailly. She is being replaced by Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, whom we thank for accepting the invitation just hours before the concert and who has made himself available to perform Johannes Brahms ' Concerto in D major, Op. 77, for violin and orchestra, which is on the program. Also confirmed is the second part of the program with the Symphony No. 1 in C minor op. 68 by the same composer.
A welcome return is that of Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, who has already performed last January with Chailly Prokof'ev's Concerto in D major for Violin, which was greeted by very long applause and acclaimed also abroad in the stages of the January tour from Paris to Amsterdam.
