After a successful debut last May, Filarmonica della Scala entrusts Lahav Shani with opening the new season. A versatile and accomplished musician, the 33-year-old Israeli is the youngest Conductor Principal in the history of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra chose him to succeed Zubin Mehta, who led it for 50 years.
