Dedicated to Italian violists and double bassists is the new edition of the "Maura Giorgetti" Scholarships, which Filarmonica della Scala and Main Partner UniCredit allocate each year to further the musical education of the best Italian talents. Until Friday, Sept. 13, Italian violists and double bassists between the ages of 15 and 24 (who are 15 years old as of Dec. 2, 2024 and not yet 24 years old as of Dec. 4, 2024) can apply. The best applicants in each category will be awarded a scholarship worth €4,000. New to the 2024 edition is theUniCredit Award, an additional economic recognition worth €1,000 that UniCredit, the Philharmonic's Main Partner that has always been attentive to the development of culture in all its forms and the growth of young talent, will correspond to the youngest musician admitted to the final round scheduled for December 4, 2024.
