We could not miss this week's Fuorisalone. Tomorrow at 10 p.m. our percussionists Francesco Muraca and Gerardo Capaldo take part in a free admission performance in the Cloisters of the Milan Conservatory of Music: music dialogues with the installation path of fourteen lamps animated by sound design by electronic music classes. Performing with them are the MLOrK Laptop Orchestra and a chamber ensemble from the Milan Conservatory.
Seven columns in the Conservatory Cloister will each be surrounded by two lamps and a loudspeaker. A number of sensors will be attached to the lamps that will be activated, changing the characteristics of the sound emitted by the reference speaker, the moment viewers/listeners rotate the head of each lamp or the entire lamp. The set of sounds emitted by the speakers will then realize a unique sound design, which will change over time as visitors interact with the lamps.
