Riccardo Chailly conducts the concert on Monday 7 March

The programme includes Rachmaninov's Concerto No. 3 in D minor and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6.

Principal Conductor Riccardo Chailly has agreed to conduct the Filarmonica della Scala concert scheduled for Monday 7 March at 8 p.m. at the Teatro alla Scala.
The evening's programme has undergone a change: the new poster presents Sergei Rachmaninov 's Concerto No. 3 in D minor op. 30 and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky 's Symphony No. 6 in B minor op. 74 Patetica. Confirmed the presence of the young soloist Mao Fuj ita at his first performance in Italy.

Mao Fujita received the Silver Medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2019 and the First Prize at the Concours International de Piano Clara Haskil in 2017. He has performed alongside leading international orchestras. Last season he made his debut at the Wigmore Hall in London and played the complete Mozart sonatas at the Verbier Festival.
