Rudolf Buchbinder replaces Daniel Barenboim in the concert with Zubin Mehta

It is with great regret that Maestro Daniel Barenboim has announced that for health reasons he will not be able to perform at the piano alongside Zubin Mehta in the Philharmonic Season concert scheduled for Saturday 12 February 2022 at 8pm at Teatro alla Scala. In his place, Rudolf Buchbinder will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37, one of the greatest interpreters of the composer's piano works. The evening's programme remains unchanged: in addition to the Concerto, Maestro Zubin Mehta conducts Igor Stravinsky's Le Sacre du printemps.
